This week the main item was a self sculpture in an abstract form, fired in a self built kiln containing sawdust and other and a range of materials designed to produce colour. The second item was a hand thrown candlestick.
The candlestick (tall thin item) required the most delate of touches to keep straight.
One of the self sculptures was very special and very moving. The potter portrayed the scares and overcoming the rigours of serious illness - their own, and how ceramics can be used to produce great art with a strong message.
