A novel breakthrough of polymer assimilation from graphene oxide (GO) precursor allows for the controlled thermoplastic formation of graphene films. The thermoplasticity of GO solids is enabled by the intercalated polymer via thermally stimulated polymer chain activity. The thermoplastic technique significantly expands the forming capabilities of GO materials and other multilayer materials, promising varied structural designs for a broader range of applications.
